DESCRIPTION:Flat oval objects made from wood or bone that are swung through the air on a cord are called “bullroarers”. The noise that is made with them can be heard over long distances. Bullroarers have been known since the Paleolithic Period and are still used today in some traditional cultures. DESCRIPTION:Changed opening hours due to work on the museum grounds:Monday – FridayGuided tours at 12 noon and 4 pm\, and by appointmentSaturday/SundayOpen all day from 10 am to 5 pm \n\n\n\n\nOur branch museum\, campus transhumanza\, is within walking distance (200 m) and is dedicated to the well-known local and seasonal sheep migration\, which has been recognised as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. The exhibitions present ethnological and artistic perspectives on the subject.
