Please take into consideration which of our programs your children may have already seen. If you wish to avoid duplications, we can recommend reserving one of our vacation programs. That is because our summer programs and school-year programs differ from each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Do you have your own idea for a program? (k1) Paint Just Like in the Stone Age<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our ancestors knew how to make paints by mixing ocher, charcoal, various earths, and a binding agent. After a brief explanatory tour, we will grind our own pigments, make a brush out of a twig, and paint our own little cave paintings. While they dry, we will try grinding flour on a Stone Age mill and bake bread on a stick.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Target group:<\/strong> age 5 and above (k2) Making Stone Age Jewelry<\/p>\n\n\n\n Incredible but true: already our prehistoric ancestors produced falsifications. Archeologists found fake canine tooth made of simple wood. Together we discover these particular funds and invent a stone age crime story about it. Afterwards we produce a pendant out of poplar bark and bake stick bread around the campfire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Target group:<\/strong> age 7 and above (k3) Making a model bow<\/p>\n\n\n\n When \u00d6tzi hiked trough our woods and mountains, now more than 5,000 years ago, he carried a quiver, arrows and a half finished bow with him. After a short introduction we produce a model bow out of hazel wood, which the children take home as a souvenir. We finish the program with archery shooting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Target group:<\/strong> age 9 and above (k4) Sewing leather just like in the Stone Age<\/p>\n\n\n\n Today, it is Tupperware containers and aluminum foil that solve our smaller everyday logistical problems. Two containers made of birch bark and a belt bag made of leather rendered similar services to \u00d6tzi. After a brief explanatory tour through our exhibition, we will try sewing leather, followed by Paleolithic spear throwing. Children may take home the small leather pouches they make, perfect for storing little treasures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Target group:<\/strong> age 11 and above (k5) For six hours, we experience how things were 5,300 years ago. Living like \u00d6tzi. For example, we harvest wild plants together in the woods and on the meadow for our meal. We build a fire and grind flour between stones. Baking bread in the Copper Age clay dome oven and cooking barley stew in the large clay pot might be on the program, as well as an evening campfire or firing ceramics that you have brought along in a firing pit. The program will be arranged by two museum educators from the archeoParc in agreement with the accompanying instructors. The program varies from one Adventure Day to the next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Contents: (k6) For twenty-four hours we experience how things were 5,300 years ago. Living like \u00d6tzi.
