Il est mort d\u2019une fl\u00e8che tir\u00e9e en haute montagne. La neige et la glace ont presque enti\u00e8rement conserv\u00e9 son corps et son \u00e9quipement jusqu\u2019\u00e0 leur d\u00e9couverte en 1991. Ce tr\u00e9sor culturel unique au monde comprend environ 400 objets et un vaste inventaire des connaissances disponibles \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque.<br>Aujourd\u2019hui, plusieurs mus\u00e9es et expositions sp\u00e9cialement am\u00e9nag\u00e9s racontent l\u2019histoire d\u2019\u00d6tzi. La momie des glaces elle-m\u00eame peut \u00eatre admir\u00e9e au <strong>Mus\u00e9e arch\u00e9ologique du Tyrol du Sud<\/strong> \u00e0 Bolzano. En compl\u00e9ment, l\u2019<strong>archeoParc de la vall\u00e9e de Schnals<\/strong>, situ\u00e9 \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 du lieu de d\u00e9couverte d\u2019\u00d6tzi, montre o\u00f9 et comment il vivait.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019archeoParc abrite, outre les reproductions de l\u2019\u00e9quipement et des v\u00eatements d\u2019\u00d6tzi, un <strong>parc en plein air<\/strong> avec neuf maisons de l\u2019\u00e2ge de pierre reconstruites, ainsi que des expositions sur la d\u00e9couverte d\u2019\u00d6tzi et sur l\u2019histoire de la vall\u00e9e de Schnals.<br>On y trouve \u00e9galement une <strong>petite salle de cin\u00e9ma<\/strong>, une <strong>boutique du mus\u00e9e bien fournie<\/strong> et un <strong>agr\u00e9able bistrot-caf\u00e9t\u00e9ria<\/strong> proposant des plats l\u00e9gers, du caf\u00e9 et des g\u00e2teaux. Plusieurs fois par jour, des <strong>d\u00e9monstrations en direct d\u2019allumage du feu<\/strong> sont pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es en anglais, en allemand et en italien. Sur le quai, au stand de tir \u00e0 l\u2019arc, dans l\u2019atelier des visiteurs et dans la maison du boulanger, des <strong>activit\u00e9s participatives<\/strong> sont \u00e9galement propos\u00e9es plusieurs fois par jour.
