On Saturday, 6 September, the municipality of Senales invites you to a celebration at the campus transhumanza in Madonna di Senales. In addition to the new permanent exhibition, a sculpture and a composition will be presented to the public. The ceremony will be accompanied by culinary delights from the opening of the Slow Food Val Senales sheep speciality weeks. A celebration dedicated to the mobile grazing practice of transhumance, which UNESCO lists as intangible cultural heritage.
We look forward to seeing many visitors at the ceremony and at the open days on the occasion of the shepherds’ festivals on 7 and 13 September and on the UNESCO International Day of Intangible Cultural Heritage on 17 October, each from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
