It only took a few days between the discovery of the Iceman on the Giogo Tisa ridge in the Val Senales valley and resourceful journalists in Vienna creating the name “Ötzi”. Stefan Tappeiner, museum educator, will tell how Ötzi was discovered and what the finding of him entailed in this thematic tour in the permanent exhibition “The Discovery”.
